Jakarta, August 16, 2025 – Maxdecal, an Indonesian sticker brand, emphasized its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s creative economy through the “Maju Dari Aku” (Forward From Me) campaign collaboration. This collaboration is a collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf), the Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office, Transjakarta, and Tale X in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day.
As a strategic partner supporting the Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf), the existence of Maxdecal products is a strong symbol to support local creators, so that their work is not only known in Indonesia, but can be recognized and able to compete at the international level, according to Nofian Hendra, Project Director & RnD Maxdecal. In emphasizing its commitment, Maxdecal, which also collaborates with seven Intellectual Property (IP), Maxdecal transformed seven Transjakarta bus units with seven local IP works that have been curated by the Ministry of Creative Economy and Tale X (a local creative house). The seven local IPs are, Tenka Street, Beemala, Agus, Starla x Zivana, Halo Miyu, Kembuclub and IP Jakarta JeKaTe.

In this collaboration, Maxdecal played a major role in providing a distinctive and colorful visual branding touch to the exterior of seven Transjakarta buses. According to Nofian Hendra, color and print quality play a crucial role in shaping the image of the IP itself, which is why Maxdecal was trusted to produce the highest quality prints.
This event was also attended by Mrs. Irene Umar, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Disparekraf DKI Jakarta, Mr. Arifin, Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mr. Welfizon Yuza, President Director of Transjakarta, Mr. Untung Budiharto, President Commissioner of Transjakarta, Mr. Fadly Hasan, Director of Business and Asset Utilization of Transjakarta, and Joshua Budiman, President Director of Tale X.

With Maxdecal’s support in this campaign, it proves the quality of Maxdecal’s premium products which are resistant to various weather challenges, making them very suitable for use in the automotive industry, including public transportation at sea and on land, which requires a variety of attractive colors with the best quality, explained Nofian Hendra.
Seven Transjakarta buses use Maxdecal Commercial Printing Film LMP85 combined with Super Gloss Overlaminating Film ECL120. The advantages of these two types lie in brighter, more intense colors, supported by Dry Glue technology, which provides optimal finishing results.

The process of installing stickers on each Transjakarta bus certainly presents its own challenges. For example, the prepress stage for design layout, as the sticker installation process is highly dependent on the number of designs, requires utmost precision. Nevertheless, Maxdecal remains fully committed to delivering the best possible results. The installation process takes 8-12 hours per unit.
Maxdecal emphasizes that stickers have become an essential part of transportation. They can be used for corporate identity, self-expression, and government agencies, all while maintaining safety standards. Through this collaboration, Maxdecal aims to showcase the creativity of the nation’s youth in public spaces, including Transjakarta buses. Maxdecal Colors Your World!
