Jakarta, May 2026 — Maxdecal, in collaboration with Indonesia Subculture, officially presents INKVERSE: The Body Art Festival 2026, the largest body art and tattoo culture festival, taking place on May 30–31, 2026, at The Brickhall. Themed “Where Ink Becomes Identity,” the festival will serve as a space for the expression of creativity, identity, and the development of modern urban culture.
INKVERSE is projected to attract 2,500–5,500 visitors, including urban millennials, Gen Z, the tattoo community, automotive and motorbike communities such as HOG Anak Elang (Harley Owner Group), Harley-Davidson Jakarta, and creative industry players aged 18–45. The two-day festival will feature a variety of exciting programs, including a Live Tattoo Session, Hand Tapping Tattoo Durga from Mentawai, Tattoo Flash, Body Suspension, a Tattoo Competition, an Artist Showcase, a Harley-Davidson & Big Bike Showcase, and cross-creative community collaborations. This festival serves as a platform for bringing together tattoo artists, automotive enthusiasts, collectors, and connoisseurs of tattoo culture in one inclusive and inspiring space.
The festival also brings together the world of body art and the automotive industry, which share a similar philosophy to the world of wrapping: self-expression and personalization. In line with the growing motorcycle modification culture in Indonesia, vehicles have now become a visual identity medium that represents the character of their users.
As part of INKVERSE 2026, Maxdecal also launched the Maxdecal 9600 Print Series, a new line that represents innovation in the visual world, automotive, and custom lifestyle culture. This product uses automotive-grade vinyl with UV protection and a high-performance adhesive designed to follow the contours of the motorcycle body. Its key advantages include durability in tropical weather, high flexibility for complex surfaces, and additional protection of the original paint from light scratches and oxidation.
The Maxdecal 9600 Print Series was introduced through its application on the Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycle, which has a strong, iconic character and has become a symbol of global custom culture. Maxdecal’s material is ideally suited to the complex body shape while maintaining a premium aesthetic without compromising Harley’s signature aggressive and classic look. Going forward, Maxdecal will offer more inclusive products for various large and sport motorcycle segments.
Through Art Creator, Maxdecal continues to support the development of visual culture, urban lifestyle, and creative industry collaboration in Indonesia. INKVERSE 2026 is part of this commitment, presenting a body art festival that emphasizes the values of self-expression, creativity, and identity in modern urban culture. INKVERSE is envisioned as a platform that brings together tattoo artists, creative industry players, the automotive community, and the public in a celebration of body art that is inclusive, progressive, and relevant to the cultural developments of today’s generation.
Maxdecal believes that the future of the automotive industry is determined not only by vehicle performance but also by identity. Therefore, Maxdecal continues to strive to be a part of this journey by connecting art, material technology, and community in one vibrant platform for expression.
