Maxdecal Successfully Hosts INKVERSE: The Body Art Festival 2026

Jakarta, May 30, 2026 — Maxdecal, together with Indonesia Subculture, successfully held INKVERSE: The Body Art Festival 2026, the largest body art and tattoo culture festival in Jakarta, which took place on May 30–31, 2026, at The Brickhall, Fatmawati City Center, South Jakarta. This event was a celebration of creativity, self-expression, and urban cultural identity, successfully bringing together various creative communities in one inspiring platform.

With the theme “Where Ink Becomes Identity”, INKVERSE 2026 received an enthusiastic welcome from thousands of visitors, including urban millennials, Gen Z, tattoo communities, major motorcycle communities like HOG Anak Elang (Harley Owner Group) Harley-Davidson Jakarta, and creative industry players. Their presence demonstrated the growing public appreciation for body art and the culture of personalization, which have become essential parts of the modern lifestyle.

Over the two days of the event, INKVERSE presented a variety of featured programs that captivated visitors. These included Hand Tapping Tattoo Durga from Mentawai.

Live Tattoo Session, Tattoo Flash, Tattoo Competition,

Body Suspension,

From the Artist Showcase to the Harley-Davidson & Big Bike Showcase, these various activities not only provided entertainment but also provided a space for education and appreciation for the development of tattoo art and the ever-growing creative culture in Indonesia.

This festival also successfully brought together two closely related creative worlds: tattoo art and the vehicle wrapping industry. Both share a similar philosophy, using the body and vehicles as media for expression, identity, and personal storytelling. Through INKVERSE, Maxdecal demonstrated how visual art can bridge various creative communities and industries within a mutually supportive ecosystem.

The presence of the automotive community at this festival further strengthened the relevance of the theme. Amidst the growing culture of two-wheeled vehicle modification in Indonesia, motorcycles are no longer just a means of transportation, but have become a means of self-expression. Communities like daily motorcycles, sports motorcycles, custom motorcycles, and big bikes share the same need: to showcase a unique and personal visual identity.

Through INKVERSE 2026, Maxdecal also introduced its latest innovation with the launch of the Maxdecal 9600 Print Series. This product symbolizes the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality material technology that supports the needs of the automotive industry and custom lifestyle culture.

The Maxdecal 9600 Print Series uses automotive-grade vinyl material equipped with a UV-protective layer and high-performance adhesive. This material is designed to optimally follow the contours of the vehicle body, offers resistance to tropical weather, high flexibility on complex surfaces, and provides additional protection to the vehicle’s original paint from light scratches and oxidation.

As part of its launch, Maxdecal applied the latest product to the Harley-Davidson Road Glide, an iconic motorcycle widely recognized in global custom culture. This model selection demonstrates Maxdecal’s material’s ability to maintain a premium look while embracing the complex bodywork without compromising the aggressive and classic feel that is characteristic of Harley-Davidson.

Going forward, Maxdecal is committed to providing more inclusive products for various large and sport motorcycle segments. We deliver premium quality without compromising on durability, aesthetics, and performance.

Through the Art Creator creative platform, Maxdecal continues to support the development of visual culture, urban lifestyle, and creative industry collaboration in Indonesia. The various events and activations presented provide a space for communities, artists, creators, and local brands to connect and grow together within a dynamic creative ecosystem.

The success of INKVERSE: The Body Art Festival 2026 is a clear demonstration of Maxdecal’s commitment to supporting creativity, self-expression, and the development of modern urban culture. This festival not only serves as a gathering place for tattoo artists, automotive communities, and creative industry players, but also serves as a symbol of cross-cultural collaboration that fosters innovation and new inspiration. Through INKVERSE, Maxdecal believes that the future of the automotive industry is determined not only by vehicle performance, but also by the identity inherent within it. By connecting art, material technology, and community in one vibrant platform of expression, Maxdecal continues to be part of Indonesia’s creative and evolving journey.
