Central Lombok, May 5, 2026 – Maxdecal once again demonstrated its commitment and support for the automotive motorsport industry through the Radical Time Attack 2026 event at the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) 2026, which took place from May 1-3, 2026. As a local Indonesian sticker brand, Maxdecal partnered with two young talents, Erika Richardo and J Owen, in a strategic collaboration to support the event and strengthen the country’s creative industry.
Maxdecal was present at the prestigious MFoS 2026 event, presenting a maximum appearance touch to the racing cars in the Radical Combiphar Time Attack 2026 series and the Liqui Moly Subaru BRZ Super Series 2026, held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Furthermore, Maxdecal also supported the debut of national racer Sean Gelael, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, in the GT World Challenge Asia 2026.
Nofian Hendra, Maxdecal’s Project Director & R&D, stated, “This participation reflects Maxdecal’s active role in encouraging cross-sector collaboration, while strengthening synergy between the creative industry and the racing world in Indonesia.” He also stated that all race cars appearing in the Radical Combiphar Time Attack 2026 and the Liqui Moly Subaru BRZ Super Series 2026 are using premium sticker products with the latest technology from Maxdecal.
An interesting collaboration with Maxdecal was evident on the race cars used by female racers Erika Richardo and J Owen. Erika herself performed at peak performance in a Radical SR1 XXR wrapped in a collaborative livery themed “Starla & Roar.” The visual design is the result of a creative collaboration between SekuyaEvos and Tale X, successfully bringing creative identity from digital to the real world of racing.

Nofian Hendra explained that Maxdecal plays a crucial role beyond simply providing stickers. Maxdecal serves as a platform for accurately realizing creative visual designs on racing vehicles. Through its technology and high-quality materials, Maxdecal bridges the gap between art and the world of motorsport.
Hendra further explained, “Almost 99% of the surface of the car Erika drives is covered in a combination of Maxdecal APV80 series materials combined with VPF100 super-gloss laminate.”

The use of Maxdecal APV80 produces a strong print with a clear and sharp visual appearance. Meanwhile, the VPF100 super-gloss laminate layer provides a more luxurious impression while helping protect the car’s body surface. The use of Maxdecal’s superior materials is crucial because race cars operate at high speeds and face heat from the engine and air friction.
Furthermore, the technology used has a permanent removable feature, allowing the stickers to be easily removed without damaging the vehicle’s original paint. This is a crucial advantage for branding needs in the racing world, which requires high flexibility and dynamic appearance changes.
“We present a striking visual appearance while representing the team’s creative and competitive identity. The use of this livery not only enhances the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal but also reflects the synergy between motorsport and Indonesia’s growing digital creative industry,” added Nofian.
Maxdecal’s presence at the Mandalika race event has received positive attention from the government. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, who was present in person on Sunday (May 3, 2026), stated that the sticker industry is one example of the breadth of the creative economy sector in Indonesia.
“The creative economy is broad; various creative endeavors are present through sticker industries like Maxdecal in the world of motorsport. The Ministry of Creative Economy believes this event not only presents competition but also demonstrates the integration of the creative economy, sports, and tourism within a single ecosystem. As long as we dare to dream and act together, positive impacts and synergies will emerge,” said Irene Umar.
Maxdecal’s commitment has not only received appreciation from the government, but also received support from the Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association, Moreno Soeprapto, and Indonesian racer Sean Gelael. The presence of a local product with international quality like Maxdecal at a world-class circuit is expected to encourage more creative and competitive collaboration between the creative industry and motorsport in the future. “With the innovative material technology it offers, Maxdecal continues to prove its role as a bridge connecting digital artistic expression with high-speed racing, while strengthening the foundation of the creative economy globally,” concluded Nofian.
